You care fiercely.
About your work. Your relationships. Your community.
You notice what others miss. You step in. You hold things together.
For many women, these ways of caring began as adaptations that helped them stay connected, safe, and needed. And they can become so familiar that it becomes difficult to notice just how much you're carrying.
What would it feel like to spend a day not having to hold everything together?
This retreat is an invitation to slow down, soften, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that can get lost when you're always caring for everyone else.
A day to be deeply held.
Rather than learning another strategy for managing yourself, we'll create space to experience something different—more spaciousness, more connection to your body, more tenderness toward yourself, and the possibility of being cared for without having to earn it.
In this day-long experiential retreat, we’ll explore:
What happens when you give yourself permission to slow down
The felt sense of love, care, tenderness, and connection in your body
The parts of you that have learned to be strong, capable, and responsible
What becomes possible when you don't have to fix, achieve, or figure everything out
How creativity, movement, mindfulness, and connection can help you come home to yourself
This retreat is for you if:
You care deeply and often carry more than your share
You step in before being asked, smoothing over challenges, or holding things together
You feel responsible for how things turn out—at work, at home, or in relationships
You’re sensitive, attuned, and thoughtful—not because you’re fragile, but because you notice
You want to experience what it feels like to soften without having to let go of what matters to you
You’re ready to make more room for rest, pleasure, creativity, and being cared for
You want to continue caring fiercely without feeling depleted, resentful, or invisible
This space is for everyday women who care, and want their care to be sustainable and empowering.
What We’ll Do Together:
Somatic & Embodiment Practices
Explore where responsibility lives in your body
Notice what it feels like to set down what isn’t yours to carry
Practice offering care fiercely yet freely, without overfunctioning
Expressive Arts Integration
Give form to your internal experience through simple art materials
Explore care from survival vs. care from choice
Visualize what sustains you vs. what depletes you
No art experience is needed. This is about expression, not perfection.
You’ll walk away with:
An embodied experience of being cared for—not just caring for others
A deeper sense of compassion and tenderness toward yourself
A felt sense of connection and community, and the reminder that you don't have to carry everything alone
A somatic experience of softness, spaciousness, and slowing down
Creative and embodied practices you can return to when you need to reconnect with yourself
A renewed sense of what it means to care deeply while including yourself in that care
The experience of being witnessed, supported, and held in community
If you’re tired of care costing you more than it gives back…
If you want to continue contributing fiercely and fully…
You’re warmly invited.
